Linda Edna Cardellini is the daughter of Lorraine (Hernan), a mother and Wayne David Cardellini (a father), who is a businessman. Linda is of Italian descent (her paternal grandfather), Irish, German, English and Scottish (her mother). Linda lived within her native San Francisco Bay area, California, the youngest of four children. As a teenager, she became interested in acting when she sang in a school Christmas play. Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989) more popularly known as her stage title Lily James, is an English actress. Her career began in the year 2010 when she appeared in the British television series Just William, in which she attended London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Following her role as Lady Rose MacClare in the period drama series Downton Abbey (2012-2015), her breakthrough was the title role in the fantasy film Cinderella (2015). James went on to portray Countess Natasha Rostova in the television version of War & Peace (2016) and also appeared in a variety of films. These included the action movie Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) as well as The Dig (2021), and musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Back Again (2018), and Yesterday (2019). Then, in 2022 her role in the role of Pamela Anderson was recognized with an Golden Globe nomination and a Primetime Emmy Award.
