Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. She began her career in the field of real estate following her graduation from college. It was here that she made friends with Tarek. After the 2008 crash of the stock exchange, many investors in real estate as well as homeowners lost their funds. Tarek El Moussa & Christina El Moussa had a chance to be insolvent due to the market crash in 2008. They moved from a costly home, where they paid $6,000 per month, to a modest apartment which cost only $700. Their company, as well as the economy as a whole, gradually rebounded. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek sought out a partner to aid him in making an HGTV audition tape which showed the two of them Christina turning a house start to finish. Pie Town Productions' executives were able to access the tape. They were in love with Tarek and Christina. The deal was signed by the couple with HGTV. Flip of Flop was launched in April of 2013. The show aired 92 seasons between 2013 and 2017. Christina and Tarek were the two characters as the main characters, would purchase properties, which were typically mid-income properties in Orange County. Tarek's primary focus is deconstruction and remodelling, while Christina concentrates on design.
