
Alexandra Rose Raisman (born May 25, 1994) is an ex-retired American artistic gymnast, and a two-time Olympian. She was the leader of the 2012 "Fierce Five", and"Fierce Five" in 2016 "Final Five," U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team. She won a team gold medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans who have won back-to-back gold medals in this competition. Raisman also took home silver medals for individual all-around and for floor exercise. Raisman also won silver medals in the individual all-around as well as for floor exercise. She is also two-time national champion in floor exercises (2012 and 2015) as well as the reigning champion on the balance beam in 2012. She is also a five-time medalist at the all-around national championships (silver bronze, silver 2011 and 2015). She was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2013.
